Scott Fiore and Joel Zane died in a skydiving accident October 16, 2004, in Brush, Colorado.

Scott and Joel were doing a CRW jump, and a side-by-side accidentally transitioned into a downplane at a very low altitude.  Both he and Joel had attended previous Stearman Fly-Ins, and thrilled the crowd with their CRW (canopy relative work) demonstrations.
