Joel Zane and Scott Fiore died in a skydiving accident October 16, 2004, in Brush, Colorado.

Joel was accomplished skydiver and pilot, and a jump plane owner.  His distinctive "silver" Skylane flew jumpers at several Stearman Fly-Ins, and he thrilled the crowd with some of his CRW (canopy relative work) demonstrations. Joel and Scott did airshow performances all over the US.

Joel was well liked, a nice guy, and a friend. He is sorely missed.
